Wantij bv is a young and dynamic company. The company is owned by J. van Veen, J. Hartman and N. Blokzijl. We are all sailing as captain on our own vessels. We are operating on the moment with the m/v Alblas and the m/v Oostzee. We ordered a vessel of 7180 DWT ice class 1A with a speed of 14.5 knots. The vessel will be delivered spring 2008.

The m/v Oostzee is a low airdraft vessel and sailing for Wijnne & Barends. Mostly carrying steel and bulk cargo's in the North sea area. The vessel is equipped to load all different kind of cargo's and was loading several constructions in hold as well on the hatch covers like yachts, casco's, rescue boats, etc. The vessel can lower there masts so that they have an air draft of 6.8 mtrs and can sail on all the Dutch, German and Belgium rivers.
